Jordan Pond & Restauran. We tried the pop-overs that we heard so much commotion about and the verdict is in…we didn’t love them honestly. They were more of a fancy-shaped toast than a rave-worthy confection.
Cadillac Mountain Because we visited in the off-peak season we were able to drive up the mountain without reservations. It was gorgeous and a really peaceful experience without the peak season crowds.
Acadia National Park Morning Cruise $39 (9:30 AM-2.5 hours) The only ranger-led program offered off-peak season. We booked for Saturday morning. Saw seals and porpoises! Also many birds, loons, cormorants, peregrine falcons, osprey, bald eagles, gulls, and guillemots
Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse it was quite tricky and honestly dangerous to get close enough to take this picture. Many large sharp rocks to climb over so be prepared with the appropriate shoes.
