  • Everglades Backcountry Boat Tour (Flamingo) $48 The tour provided informative narration about the ecosystems in and around the park.

• Royal Palm area 

• Anhinga Trail ADA accessible and stroller-friendly. Saw several very active alligators and cormorants!

• Shark Valley 

  • Night Talk, Astronomy ! Free from much of the city’s light pollution this was a great way to see the night sky and learn more from park rangers about the constellations.

• Biscayne National Park Institute 

• $39 kayak tour @ 3PM -We traversed the mangrove forests learning about the wildlife on the islands and keys of the park.

• All tours available in Biscayne National Park are offered by the Park’s Institute. Our tour guide was an experienced fisherman who learned his techniques through a family history of fishing in the area.
