Hot Springs National Park
No entry fee
It was very surprising to find that the Hot Springs in the park were actually indoors. We imagined natural pools, outside to soak in nature. Actually, the water is piped in to spa like hot tubs, and pools inside the bathouses. Inside the bathouses actually resembled medical treatment facilties, which is what they wee used for when they were first built.

Amazing tour led by a knowledgeable ranger. We stayed for about an hour after the tour asking questions! The tour tells the history of the park as a medical facility and one of the most popular rehabilitation destinations in the country at the time.
A beautiful garden about 15 minutes away from the park., which is often reserved for events. There was a wedding happenng the day we visited. There are multiple seating areas, and ponds for reflection as well as a children’s play area.
