A hike a day keeps the doctor away

I loved the idea of doing 1 hike a week so much, that I decided to keep it going! I decided that I don’t have to wait till the beginning of the year to start a new healthy habit so here we are in November and I’ve promised myself to go on at least 1 hike per week for a full year.

Hike #1

First up was an easy 2.8-mile hike near Towson Maryland, on Glen Ellen Trail Short Loop. This was a lively, flat walk through the forest with some beautiful views of Loch Raven Reservoir. This trail was very popular with a lot of hikers out on the Sunday afternoon I visited. I would recommend this trail to anyone who wants to take a nice leisurely nature walk but beware of bikers. There were also lots of cyclists out on this day and parts of the trail are narrow, so I had to keep alert for their passing.
